We made it again! For the active environmental awareness and outreach activities organised in 2015, ITE College East was conferred the 2015 South East Green Schools Award (Sustained Excellence)! The award was presented by Dr Maliki Osman, Mayor of South East District, on 17 Oct 2015 at the South East Clean & Green SG50 Carnival.  Mr Lim Teck Lee, Deputy Principal (Academic), ITE College East & Chairman for ITE Environmental Sustainability Initiative Committee received the award.

For the 6th Year since the launch of the South East Green Plan, ITE College East has been actively engaging our students in the green movement.  The Green Schools @ South East programme was launched in July 2010 and is part of the South East Green Plan to encourage schools to carry out projects to protect and sustain the environment.  The Green Schools @ South East Award aims to recognise and honour Primary and Secondary schools, International Schools and Tertiary institutions in the South East District for their contributions and efforts put in in reaching out to their students and/or the community on environmental issues.
